PF-060

Semi-finished alkyd varnish PF-060 is a solution of pentaphthalic resin modified with semi-drying oils in volatile organic solvents.

PURPOSE

It is used as a binder in the manufacture of pentaphthalic enamels, primers and fillers, as well as in the manufacture of other paints and varnishes.

PROPERTIES

Pentaphthalic paints and varnishes are characterized by good drying, both at room temperature and during hot drying; The films formed by these materials are distinguished by increased hardness, strength, gloss, resistance to static effects of various liquids, including aggressive ones. Coatings based on PF-060 varnish are used in an open atmosphere in all climatic zones.

APPLICATION METHOD

If the viscosity of the varnish increases during storage, it should be diluted to the original conditional viscosity. To dilute the PF-060 varnish, a mixture of solvents is used: the first mixture is white spirit (nefras C4-155/200) or nefras C4-150/200 with xylene or orthoxylene in a ratio of 3:2 by volume; the second mixture is solvent or nefras С4-150/200 with white spirit (nefras С4-155/200) in a ratio of 1:1 by volume.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

Varnish PF-060 is stored in a tightly closed container, protecting it from moisture, heat and direct sunlight at temperatures ranging from minus 40°C to + 40°C.
