PURPOSE

It is used for corrosion protection of metal structures and industrial equipment, facades of buildings and structures, as well as reinforcement of reinforced concrete.

PROPERTIES

The enamel film has heat resistance, frost resistance and thermal insulation properties, increases the moisture and fire protection of plywood and chipboard. Coating operation from minus 60°C to + 150°C.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Clean metal surfaces from dust, dirt, peeling old coating, loose rust, degrease if necessary. Power tool cleaning of the surface is carried out to degree St 3 or Sa 2 - Sa 2.5, according to ISO 8501-1. After mechanical cleaning, degrease the surface with an aromatic solvent (toluene, orthoxylene). Degreasing should be carried out immediately before painting and no later than 6 hours after machining when working outdoors and 24 hours when working indoors. If it is impossible to sandblast the metal, it is allowed to use a rust converter. If, after drying, spots of the original unconverted rust remain on the surface, these places should be treated with the compound again, followed by rinsing with water and drying the surface. When painting, the surface must be dry and clean.

APPLICATION METHOD

The painting should be carried out on a dry, degreased surface at an air and substrate temperature from -30°C to + 40°C and a relative humidity of no more than 80%.
When painting in winter or freezing temperatures, to prevent the formation of frost and ice crust, it is necessary to ensure that the temperature of the painted surface is not less than + 3°C above the dew point.

PREPARATION OF THE MATERIAL

Before staining, the organosilicate composition OS 12.03 must be thoroughly mixed with a stirrer until the sediment disappears completely and homogeneity is achieved throughout the volume. After that, stand for 10 minutes until the bubbles disappear. If necessary, it can be adjusted to working viscosity (by adding toluene, orthoxylene), depending on the staining method. The dilution rate can be up to 30%. Recommended working viscosity of the material with pneumatic spraying - 17-25s; for airless spraying - 30-45 s; when applied with a brush, roller - 25-35 s. The viscosity is measured with a VM-246 viscometer with a nozzle with a diameter of 4 mm at an ambient temperature of (20 ± 2)ºС. During breaks in work, the organosilicate composition OS 12.03 should be stored in a tightly closed container, before resuming painting it must be stirred and kept for 10 minutes until the bubbles disappear.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

Organosilicate composition packaging - according to GOST 9980.3, marking according to GOST 9980.4. Store in a tightly closed original container, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Storage temperature from -50°C to + 40°C.
