XB-518 

Enamel XB-518 is a suspension of pigments in a solution of polyvinyl chloride chlorinated resin in a mixture of organic solvents with the addition of an alkyd resin and a plasticizer.

PURPOSE

For painting metal steel and aluminum, as well as for short-term wooden surfaces, operated in atmospheric conditions.

PROPERTIES

The enamel dries quickly, forms an even matte finish with high water and weather resistance. For painting steel surfaces, a coating system is intended, consisting of two layers of XB-518 enamel, pre-primed with a primer XC-010.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Metal surfaces must be cleaned of corrosion products, scale, welding spatter, grease and other types of contamination in accordance with GOST 9.402. The surfaces of wooden parts prepared for painting must be free of glue, resin, chips and dirt deposits. The moisture content of the wood should not exceed 15%.

APPLICATION METHOD 

Pneumatic spraying. The brush is recommended for small areas of the surface. Recommended number of coats: 2-3 coats.

DILUTION

R-4 or R-4A.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

Enamel should be transported and stored in a tightly closed container, excluding direct sunlight and moisture. Packaged materials should be stored and transported at temperatures from -40°C to + 40°C.
