AK-511

Enamel AK-511 is a suspension of pigments and fillers in an acrylic copolymer with the introduction of various modifying additives.

PURPOSE 

Road paint AK-511 is intended for marking the carriageway of highways and streets with an improved surface in accordance with GOST R 51256 in a temperate continental climate. Also, AK-511 enamel is used with reflective glass beads, due to which road markings acquire reflective properties, become visible to drivers not only at any time of the day, but also under various weather conditions. The "glow" effect of the markings with reflective glass microspheres significantly increases the information content for the driver and reduces the accident rate on highways.

PROPERTIES

Acrylic road enamel AK-511 refers to enamels with special properties, with its help, appropriate markings are applied to asphalt and concrete road surfaces. Enamel AK-511 meets the basic requirements of road marking materials in accordance with GOST R 52575 “Public automobile roads. Road marking materials. Technical requirements "- fast drying, high lightfastness and brightness coefficient, excellent adhesion, good wear resistance, resistance to water, gasoline, chemicals, including salt.

APPLICATION METHOD 

The enamel is applied to a dry, clean, oil and grease free surface. If necessary, the enamel is diluted with R-5A solvent, depending on the initial viscosity, the percentage of dilution of the enamel is from 6 to 12%. The enamel is applied using special equipment of the road service or by hand with a paint sprayer, brush or roller. Enamel AK-511 is applied at an ambient temperature of +5°С to + 35 °C and a relative humidity of no more than 85%.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE 

Enamel AK-511 is stored in a tightly closed container, protecting it from moisture, heat and direct sunlight at temperatures from minus 40 °C to + 40 °C.
