FA-97

FA-97 is a solution in volatile organic solvents of castor alkyd and phenol-formaldehyde resin.

PURPOSE

Varnish FA-97 is intended for impregnation of windings of traction machines, for gluing, impregnation and varnishing of winding wires with fiberglass insulation.

PROPERTIES

The coating formed by enamel has high thermoelasticity, electrical strength, and resistance to humid atmosphere.

APPLICATION METHOD

The varnish is applied to the surface over the impregnation, pouring, brushing or dipping. Dilute with orthoxylene if necessary. Before application, the surface should be cleaned of dirt and dust. Before use FA-97 should be thoroughly mixed until smooth.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

The material is flammable! Store in a tightly closed container, out of direct sunlight and water at temperatures from -40°C to + 40°C.
