Isobutyl alcohol (IBА) is a colorless liquid with a characteristic odor, slightly oily to the touch.

APPLICATION

The main area of application of isobutanol is its use in the paint and varnish industry. Isobutanol is found in many numbered solvents, washes, oil and fuel additives. Isobutanol is used for the production of butyl acetate, butyl acrylate, plasticizers and resins.
